Tripp O’Lee's Orgin
For some people being an expert at something requires a lot of dedication and years of training. This
was not the case with Tripp O’Lee. For as long as she remembers it was like there was magic flowing
through her hands; or perhaps it was written in the stars to be her destiny. No matter which was
correct, the truth was that healing came naturally to her. It felt right to help others and it provided a
sense of fulfillment that she could not find elsewhere.
In regards to her early life, well, there is not much to know. Tripp knew very little about her early years
herself. What little information she did know was woven together like a tapestry by her father. She had
found out that her mother had died at a very young age, which explains why she had no real memory of
her. She was told that her mother was a strong headed woman, demanding, and had a temper that at
times got her into trouble. There was no information about her mother’s side of the family, as that was
never discussed. Tripp’s father was a rather quiet and very caring man. He came from a lineage of
healers and caregivers of all kinds, providing a solid educational foundation for Tripp.
The place that Tripp once called home was Rika. While it is a place overly filled with taverns and ale, it
made sense that they were there. Many soldiers and mercenaries called those taverns home, and often
needed healing. It was a great place for Tripp to learn and sharpen her natural skills, and provided her
with some entertainment in the process. For many years she heard stories about the continent and the
vast diversity that existed on it. She heard many tales of many cities that the soldiers had traveled to. As
with any young women Tripp’s curiosity led her to leave her home after her father died.
Her curiosity first took her to Gohithica, this intrigued her the most. The stories of dancing bodies, raging
fires, and drum beats were tantalizing. When she finally arrived in Gohithica after her long journey it
was dusk and everything she heard was exactly as she imagined. The beats of music pulsed through her
body and the fires warmed her soul. She made her way through town and chose a tavern to rest in. She
spent most of her time soaking up the atmosphere and observing people. She felt out of place, but
welcomed. It was an odd feeling to have, one she had not experienced before.
One particular night while Tripp was observing her enviroment a man entered the tavern that intrigued
her. He walked in confident, almost cocky, like he owned the place. He had a muscular build and
fierceness in his eyes. When he talked people paid attention, Tripp certainly did. There was no denying
that for whatever reason she was drawn to him. She felt a pull towards him, as if someone was actually
trying to move her out of her seat over to him. It didn’t take very long for her to identify who he was:
Asashi Sunfire, leader of the Imperial Guard.
